Doorstep Play Project

The Doorstep Play Project will be offering activities such as street soccer, panna, cartoon workshops and urban sports, providing an exciting, safe and welcoming environment for children and young people aged 8-16 years this Summer.

Doorstep provides free open access provisions for young people aged 8 to 16 on a turn up and have a go basis in their local communities.


ACTIVITIES THIS AUGUST

Town Hall:
National Play Day (ages 8-16) Wednesday 4th 12:00-16:00

Christchurch Park:
Panna Football (ages 8-16) Wednesday 11th 12:00-16:00

Reg Driver Centre, Christchurch Park:
Cartoon workshop (ages 8-16) Wednesday 18th 12:00-16:00

Gippeswyk Park:
Urban sports festival, including DJ, BBQ, basketball, panna and urban frisbee (ages 8-16) Wednesday 25th 12:00-16:00


Gainsborough Sports Centre:
Skate Park & Dance Mats (ages 8-16) Mondays 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd 15:00-19:00

Castle Hill Community Centre:
Skate Park & Dance Mats (ages 8-16) Tuesdays 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 15:00-19:00

Copleston High School:
Skate Park & Dance Mats (ages 8-16) Thursdays 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th 15:00-19:00

Maidenhall Sports Centre:
Skate Park & Dance Mats (ages 8-16) Friday 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th 15:00-19:00
