Nightlife in Suffolk will never be the same again!
Going clubbing is usually associated with having a few drinks, dancing badly to R&B or cheesy house tunes and for some; it’s a night on the pull.
Pulling and clubbing, however, can be a heady cocktail.
Research has shown that binge drinking can lead to an increased risk of contracting Chlamydia as your inhibitions may be lowered and you’re less likely to use protection!
To combat this risk NHS Suffolk are breaking the last taboo and bringing Chlamydia Screening to the clubs of Suffolk.
Now, instead of going home with your sexy stranger, the two of you can get tested for Chlamydia before you even think about getting into bed (what a turn on!). Getting tested is completely free and confidential and you get your results via text, phone or letter within 10-14 days!
Even if you don’t end up getting tested on a night out, you might choose to have a chat with one of the screening team – they have lots of advice on sexual health and getting screened.
So if you’re going to be at any of the following venues in the next couple of weeks, pop in and say hi.
Friday 18th Feb: Robert Ransome, Ipswich 9.30pm - 12.30am
Saturday 19th Feb: Deja Vu, Bury St Edmunds 10.00pm - 1.00am
Saturday 26th Feb: Karooze Bar, Bury St Edmunds and Robert Ransome, Ipswich
Monday 28th Feb: Liquid nightclub, Ipswich 10.00pm - 1.00am
Saturday 5th Mar: Bandbox, Felixstowe
