Following the success of the Theatre Royal twitter dress rehearsal of Dangerous Corner, we are announcing three more events for those who enjoy tweeting and blogging and spreading the word through social media.
Thursday 24 March 10am – 12noon
Suffolk Twestival - The Theatre Royal will take part in a day of digital events to raise awareness of the power of Twitter and funds for The Suffolk Disability Care Fund.
Tuesday 5 April 5pm - 6pm
Social Media Conference with Hull Truck stars Wendy Peters and Rob Angell. As part of their week with us starring in John Godber’s April in Paris they will discuss their roles, the art of touring, and their impressions of the Theatre Royal. Bloggers and Tweeters will then be able to stay to see the show and join a post show discussion with the cast where they will be encouraged to keep their phones on.
Saturday 16 April 11am – 1pm
Tweetour of the Theatre Royal welcoming bloggers, tweeters and those on social media to explore the historic foundations of the Theatre Royal, hear some scurrilous stories of the past, learn about the workings of our current playhouse, and keep mobile phones on throughout.
For questions, or to book a place on any of the above events, contact Chris Grady .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or follow @TheatreRoyalBSE on Twitter.
