This summer the British Red Cross have a fantastic FREE opportunity for 15-17 year olds in Ipswich and the surrounding area
As part of the government’s National Citizen Initiative the British Red Cross will be delivering ‘A Summer of a Lifetime’.
This free project for 15-17 year olds will include:
Ø An action packed activity residential away from home
Ø A residential closer to home to plan a community project
Ø Delivering the community project to benefit people in Ipswich
Ø A Celebration event to showcase their achievements.
It’s a chance for 15-17 year olds to:
Ø Have a fun, exciting and free experience
Ø Meet new people and make new friends
Ø Build confidence and self-esteem
Ø Meet Mike Mullen a former BMX world champion
Ø Build a CV by gaining skills that employers crave
Ø Get lots of certificates for example first aid and youth leadership
