The Swan this coming Monday is the place to be, particularly if you haven’t got tickets to this year’s Latitude festival. John Brett, guitarist and vocalist with The B. Goodes, explains why…
Two of the three bands lucky enough to be picked to play Latitude by Graeme Mac and Richard Haugh of BBC Suffolk Introducing, will be performing their music to, hopefully a packed out crowd. It’s free, like I mean, nought pence so there’s no excooses!!!
James Spankie will be performing with his newly formed 10 piece band (I think it’s 10…might be nine, anywho, a busy amount) and The B. Goodes will be playing their poppy little ditties with the exuberance of men half their ages and with a full head of hair. (That’s referring to myself and Phil, I must add. Jay has a healthy, silky head of hair – as pointed out by one of IP1‘s fair and keen eyed intrepid reporters recently.)
I digress… erm yeah, FREE music, of a listenable standard. There’s alcohol on tap aiiiiiiiiiit and hopefully it will be a smashing PAR-TAY.
Did I stress it’s FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Sounds great!
Erm… yes… well I have to say Jay’s hair is something special. I didn’t have to be keen-eyed or intrepid to see THAT.
