It is a very busy time for us, with it being the final year of our Fine Art Degree at University Campus Suffolk. On behalf of my fellow students, I am very pleased to announce the title of our Degree show, which I admit has taken a lot of time and looking up many words in the dictionary. Last wednesday after a lot of words being thrown out, some of which did create a lot of laughter, most of which by Daniel Willimott. We all agreed to call it “BREATHE”. We wanted a word that represented all of us as a group. We felt this was quite poetic, the idea that we all breathe in the new and out with the old. We are constantly breathing in new air, and as artists we are always thinking and breathing new ideas. The photo in todays blog is our logo, so if you see it anywhere keep your eye peeled for any events coming up.
Since christmas we have all been busy. The studios have looked rather different, as we have been constantly reading and typing away on our laptops. Are deadline is Monday, so the studios will have a dramatic change, as our creative work the reemerge from our creative dissertation writing.
I will keep you posted. Until next time ....
