PRINT ISN’T DEAD! - Printmaking exhibitions at Smiths Row and The Minories

Whether you’ve had a go as a child at the legendary potato print or have screen printed your own t-shirts, printmaking and print is far from dead.

Injecting some life into the old bean this autumn local galleries; Smiths Row in Bury St.Edmunds and The Minories in Colchester are holding exhibitions dedicated to the medium.

Whilst over at Smiths Row is; To Start A Conversation Across A Crowded Room: Contemporary British Printmaking. If the exhibition is as good as the title is long, then we are all in for a treat. Opening Saturday 20th September, the exhibition will feature work by seven contemporary artist printmakers, with an exciting new commission of “Yo-Yo” an Off-site project by Adam Bridgland will also be launched to coincide with the exhibition opening.
