The background is based loosely on a sunrise over a meadow at Aldringham, Suffolk. The tree embodies a picture frame containing either cracked glass or a spider’s web. A window onto an inner world. (oil on canvass)
Retrospective exhibition at The Freudian Sheep Contemporary Art Gallery, 104 St Helens Street, Ipswich runs from Saturday June 6 to Friday 3 July 2015.
