I rise again

From the pit he walks again
Amongst the winds and biblical rains
He proclaims that hes been reborn
To bring hell to the forlorn
I wandered for days on the desert sand
Crawling on bruised knees and bleeding hands
I see his statue from across the dunes
I knew then I had nothing to lose

I am the resurrection
I live
I live
I died
I rise again
I rise again

My senses shattered now I cannot stand
In that moment I understand
What to do and what to become
I will not stop until it is done
He says
Become the fire that purges the pain
Consuming all until nothing remains
From the ruins rebuild mankind
I saw the planes fall out from the skies

Staring at death I have been reborn
To bring hell to the forlorn
He says I am legion you cannot win
We will leave your city in ruin
You have no hope for it is your time
The purge begun under the desert skies
