Formed in November 2007, Blacktop Harrison have developed a reputation for producing idiosyncratic, dynamic, thundering rock with strong hooks.
Powerful and well-crafted material is interspersed with social commentary regarding the trials and contradictions of modern life, personal tales of introspection, and observational third person narrative often referencing deeper and darker underlying subtexts.
The band have released three albums on their own M13 Records label - ‘Blacktop Harrison’, ‘No Direction, Semaphore’, ‘Adjust Your Radar’ and have recently completed work on their 4th album ‘Sunshine, Dark Eyes’.
“Blacktop Harrison are a local hard rock/metal force to be reckoned with; mixing infectious vocal grooves in the style of Reef and Alter Bridge with some of the finest guitar riffs that Pantera and Black Label Society never wrote.”
Jason Noble (IP1zine)
