Name: Izzy’s Daughter
Izzy’s Daughter is an acoustic singer songwriter with a nostalgic desire for love and loss. Influenced by Celtic and other worldly sources, this haunting ‘folk noir’ sound will seep under your skin and take you on an emotional journey.
The upcoming album ‘Autumn Flowers’ comes out on the 17th April 2013, which is a beautiful concoction of her early and most current material, ranging from the epic ‘Autumn Flowers’ to the stripped down and equally seductive beauty that is ‘Tinkerbell’. From moody cello’s to ghostly harmonies, listeners are in for a real treat. The debut single ‘Autumn Flowers’ has now been released along with a wonderful music video, and is available to download for free.’
Singing since she could remember, Izzy’s Daughter picked up a guitar during University in London and quickly found herself recording an EP with Mikee Goodman, later forming a band called ‘Howling for Heaven’ in Suffolk. On leaving the band to return to her solo roots, Izzy’s Daughter returned to London in late 2012 to record her album.
Not forgetting her Suffolk roots, Izzy’s Daughter regularly comes home to the beautiful county so keep your eyes peeled for a show down that way.
Last year saw Izzy’s Daughter playing venues such at Epic TV Studio’s and Norwich Waterfront, not to forget Hayes FM and most recently, a contribution in the book
