Ipswich-based record label dedicated to preserving the indigenous music of East Anglia.
2011 was a busy year for us and over the next few weeks we’ll be uploading some of our personal highlights.
We’ve added some tracks from The Ugly Truth About Ipswich double CD compilation released with Corndog Records in April 2011. We were delighted to be involved in a project that aimed to record 30 years of the Ipswich music scene for posterity, from Nik Kershaw to Extreme Noise Terror.
The Ugly Truth became our fastest-selling CD and the launch night with Broken Shapes, The Waxing Captors, These Are End Times, Henry Homesweet, Jack Rundell and The B.Goodes was reportedly the best attended gig in the three year history of McGintys as a live music venue.
