Vist bellamy's Profile

The Wolves And The Forest

She closed her eyes at night
And fell into a sheet of darkness
Where she tumbled with discordant grand pianos
And hourglasses down a hole into another world
All her own
Away from the grey, from the routine, the same

Darkness falls, she emerges to the calls of
Familiar faces and swirls of voices, all paint one thick swirls of sound
To the plot in her minds eye, she could see, she did not know what was going on
Dreaming, dreaming of her escape from this world
All her own
She would not let sunlight invade
I wish she let the sunlight invade

I enter the darkness alone and
I fall into her world
To the cries and damp reddened eyes
I can see your face
Amongst the rustic, the wolves and forestry
A barren, snow draped landscape
You are here
I feel so much wilted sorrow like Atlas bearing the world
If I could reach out and pull you back with me I would
A fingertips distance, too far out of reach

The sun stirs me out but your here in my bed, in my mind
This beautiful hallucination dissipates, im left longing again
It seemed more real than yesterday,
The grey, the routine, the same
The colour has faded out of the day
How I could fade away and be with you

She closed her eyes at night
To fall into the welcome embrace of darkness
Where she tumbled with discordant grand pianos
And hourglasses fall down a hole into another world
All her own
Never to come back to us again
