In November 2010, Ipswich singer/songwriter Emma Cherry released her debut album, Paper Dreams.
The concept for the album came from Emma’s need to dream and her belief that we should all live our dreams and not forget them.
The album contains ten self-penned songs each with its own meaning, conveyed through an intelligent mix of instrumentals and vocals, which offer the listener a real depth of meaning.
Unlike some mainstream artists, Emma’s album is not about sleeping around or how much she wants to be famous, nor is it about how she is better than the rest. Instead Paper Dreams is a mix of emotions and memories that are shared between the artist and her fans. The album will draw you in, as if every song was written for you and you alone.
Showing that she is not just a one trick pony the upcoming star not only wrote this magical album but also recorded and mixed it in her living room, accompanied by Gav Locksmith.
Emma’s chilled out melodies and soft, soothing vocals make this the perfect relaxing soundtrack to a young woman’s life. LM
