UCS Fine Art Auction, Ipswich, March 23!

Vist Emily Godden's Profile

UCS Fine Art Auction, Ipswich, March 23!

This year, the biggest and perhaps most-talented final year Fine Art students at University Campus Suffolk will be holding an extraordinary fundraising auction.

Acclaimed Suffolk-based artists including Maggi Hambling, Sarah Lucas, and Ryan Gander have all given their support in the form of fantastic donated artworks representing the best of contemporary culture, to help raise money for the degree show exhibition.

Works that are fresh and confident made by UCS students and staff will also be sold to support the production of a catalogue and other promotional activities associated with the Fine Art Degree Show exhibition, that will take place from June 5 this year.

In total, there are about 100 lots being sold by Russell Cole from Neals Estate Agents and Auctioneers of Woodbridge who will be conducting the auction.

Now in its ninth year, the auction is set to attract collectors and the general public from Suffolk, London and beyond, where visitors will be able to purchase works from five to several thousands of pounds.

Expect a lot of buzz and excitement at this major event taking place at the Ipswich university’s Waterfront Building on March 24 from 6.30 until 9.30.
