Jelly @ Old Jet

Vist OLD JET's Profile

Jelly @ Old Jet

I just thought I’d let you know we’re starting a ‘Jelly’ in at Old Jet and I thought you might be interested. The first one is this Wednesday the 3rd of June.

A Jelly is a regular co-working event for freelancers, people who work from home and people who run their own small businesses to do some work in a shared environment. Jelly is about meeting new people, working socially and trying to combat some of the isolation that working by yourself can bring. It’s a mixture of work, chat, sharing ideas and passing on tips and help. Some of you might not be freelancers but may have been added to this email because you might know others who will benefit from it. If you think that might be you then please forward this on!

You come with your laptop and some work to do and we provide tables, chairs, wifi, coffee and company. The space is open from 10-4 and you can stay as long as you like. And best of all - it’s FREE - although we will ask for donations for refreshments.

The Jelly will be held at Old Jet on the first Wednesday of every month. Old Jet is a fabulous new venue and creative business hub that’s being developed on the old airbase at Bentwaters and is an exciting place to work. There are already a number of resident freelancers - photographers and musicians - based there, plus recording and live studios and band storage space, and there are plans for a production rehearsal venue and an event space, so it seems fitting to set up Suffolk’s first Jelly there.

The inaugural Jelly at Old Jet is on Wednesday 3rd June. If you want to come along please register your place via Eventbrite so we know how many people to expect. If you plan to stay all day you can either bring your own lunch or head over to the Diner on the base.

If you’re planning to join us then please register here:

Our address is:

Old Jet, Building 567, Bentwaters Parks, Rendlesham, IP12 2TW.

When you arrive on site just follow the signs for Old Jet.

If you want to find out more about Jelly go to the UK Jelly website.

Please feel free to forward this message on to any other freelancers and home-workers you think might be interested!

Hope to see you on Wednesday!
