I started making music about 7 years ago after finding out about the remix packs available from NIN.com… I spent alot of time using Audacity and cutting up samples that I got free all over the net and free with Magazines… and making really quite awful remixing of great songs…

I soon needed more than Audacity could offer so I moved DAW’s to Fruity loops which was quickly replaced by REASON 4.0 After a while I began making DnB/darkstep/jungle with a little success under the name “The NumberJack” have two releases on a free net label out of France called Chase Records but I never really felt comfortable so I soon came back to my roots and my original influences which is the industrial styling of NIN and Trent Reznor…

so it was time to change DAW’s once again once I’d realised Reason had little more to offer me eventually I moved to Ableton 8 where I have felt at home for quite some time…

I began to develop my own sound which began life heavily influenced by the glitched dnb sounds of TVG hates TVG and BOP. The atmosphere of Telefon Tel Aviv and the raw power and edge of performers such as Thom Yorke and Bjork…

Soon I became me and Me became Phyruis Black-Jack….
