Dear Sleeper are a post-hardcore band from Ipswich, Suffolk, having formed in late 2010. The band take inspiration from bands such as Alexisonfire, Circa Survive, Funeral for a Friend and Thrice, and aim to evoke an atmospheric, melodic and powerful sound.

The band recorded their debut EP in 2011 with Lee Batiuk at Regal House Studios. The band returned to the studio to record two more singles, the first of which, Karma, was featured on A Wolf At Your Door Records’ ‘Unsigned Playlist’. After a few changes in the line-up, the band went to Regal House once more to record their second EP in the summer of 2014.

Dear Sleeper self-released their new EP as three seperate singles once a month from October 2014. The tracks earned the band their first radio play on BBC Suffolk’s Introducing show. The band will be releasing their debut video in 2015, as well as organising their first tour and writing a third EP.
