Mate this is beautiful. Are you doing prints of these pieces because I definitely think they’d do very well commercially.

Also would love to know your technique… are the trees just lots of layered photos?

Not doing them as prints yet as I’ve been busy with other stuff. I’d like to do a bigger collection and then release them as prints but it’s a ways away at the moment.

The technique is basically as you describe. I had many useless photos that I just didn’t like and was about to delete them off of my computer until I saw someone use this technique in Photoshop. I gave it a try with a public domain image (this one, Demeter) and it came out great so I continued with a few others. Just simply using masks and messing about with blending modes and opacity. It’s not something you can go terribly wrong with so it’s quite rewarding. Hope this helps smile
